Sheri Koones is a columnist
and author who writes about construction and issues pertaining to
new homeowners. She writes a regular column for Home Resource and
Design Magazine as well as articles on other topics relating to the
home. She endured the building of her own dream home a few years ago
and, through much trial and error, now knows what should be done when
building a home. Her first book came out in 2002 – From
Sand Castles to Dream Houses: A Planner for Building or Remodeling
Your Home. This easy-to-read home building/renovating guide offers
up-to-date information and advice to the homeowner in clear, everyday
language. In addition to explaining how to get the home built, she
provides information on the various accessories and systems available
today for the home. Sheri spent countless hours interviewing various
manufacturers in order to find the most accurate information on what
is now available for the home. Sheri, through her hours of effort,
provides the ultimate guide to home building/remodeling.
Her second book House
About It explores all of the options open to homeowners when they
are building or remodeling their home. It includes advantages and
disadvantages of various options in roofing, siding, windows, doors,
trim, mechanicals and so on.
Sheri's third book - Modular Mansions is
also now available. She is currently working on a 4th book, due out
in 2006.
