Its been a while since I’ve found the time to blog. It seems I’ve spend most of the summer driving my sweet son to work, driver’s ed and to visit a variety of colleges. Traveling to all of these schools has been an eye-opening experience – schools sure have changed since I was at one myself. Today the dining rooms have so many choices – vegetarian, Kosher, Asian, Indian, gluten-free, and so on. When I went to college the choice was – take-it or leave-it. Today the washers and driers send text messages when the cycle is done, there are blue lights for safety everywhere, every type of club exists on campus and fitness centers rival the best private clubs around. Hopefully, the education is also superior.
I was delighted this morning to pick up an advance copy of USA Weekend, which is a supplement in over 400 papers in the US. There is an article – “Prefab homes get Chic.” I hope lots of people read this and agree.
